One of my local councils is producing an adder "awareness" poster which I am attempting to keep tabs on whilst trying to ensure that it is factual and accurate.

Would anyone here be so kind as to post up decent "Typical male" and "Typical female" images that I may provide them with please?

Thankyou.

The amusing side of this is how difficult it is to find adders, never mind be troubled by them.

I know that and you know that.

They are going to go ahead and produce a poster anyway,I am just trying to make sure that no pictures of anacondas or inaccurate info end up on the poster.

If there are any on the Portland thread that might be of use to you.  I'd be happy to send a full size copy.

Hi,

Just a couple of suggestions...

1.  I think it would a good idea to ensure the photos are from an angle that people might realistically see Adders from, and with a bit of background in.

2.  Ensure the Adders look non-threatening.  Tony's (Armata) photos are great but look a bit "dramatic", and may send out the wrong message to the ill-informed.

Regards,

Tim.

I thought Tony's original adder pics looked cute - must be an 'awareness' thing

They are good points though Tim. Peter anything of mine on the forums you are welcome to use BTW.
